What a day! After an early start and a long drive around the M25 our four swimmers of Jasmine, Charmaine, Grace and Annabelle arrived at the London Aquatic Centre ready to compete in the Bath and Otter Cup. This event has been taking place for over 100 years and we are so lucky to be part of such a brilliant and historic competition.

The morning started with the freestyle relay where the girls swam well and were placed 8th ahead of the final. They swam hard and improved their time and placed 6th overall. After a short lunch break it was back into the water for the Medley Relay Heats. Reaching the final in 6th place with our sights set on a medal the team were ready to go. Annabelle started strong on backstroke touching in 1st and setting the team up well, Charmaine swam a great breaststroke length followed by Grace on the butterfly. It was then down to Jasmine, our swimming captain, who to finish strong and she did. Touching in 3rd place to win the Bronze Medal. The girls beat their heats time by over 2 seconds in the final! Well done to these four girls, and a lovely send off to one of our Captains, Jasmine, to end her swimming career at Wycombe.
